IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR FLECKVIEH BEEF

• Our beef is now 3rd and 4th generation cross Fleckvieh/ Holstein ...so mostly Fleckvieh by  now​
• Our beef is raised on our farm from birth
• Our beef is grass fed and GRASS FINISHED
• During the winter they are fed hay and fermented alfalfa, which is called silage.
• Our beef never receive hormone implants
• Our beef rarely receive antibiotics, only if absolutely necessary
• Our beef is dry aged and hangs for 14 days

These are non-refundable.  We are not a bank, the deposit means that you are serious about your purchase.  Sad to say, we have had too many customers change their minds throughout the years, hence the reason for the deposit.

BEEF PRICE TO BE PAID TO COUNTRY LANE NATURALS

• When you buy beef by the Quarter, Side or Whole you will pay according to the wet weight of the animal.  This is the weight your beef weighs right after it has been butchered and cleaned and washed down.
• A quarter beef will weight about 175 to 200 lbs wet weight.
• A side will weigh about 375 to 400 lbs wet weight
• A whole beef will weigh about 750 to 850 lbs wet weight
• You will receive about 60% of the wet weight of product.  This is because of shrinkage during the dry aging during hanging and from cutting up the beef into the different cuts.
• A quarter beef will cost approximately $950 - $1050, including butcher fee's
• A side will cost approximately $1800 including butcher's fee  BUT--this fee all depends on if you would be ordering patties, sausages, jerky etc. etc.
• For a whole beef it would be $3500 + butcher fee's - same as above- depends if there are extra's being ordered.

​BALANCE DUE

• Remainder of what you owe for your beef package is due as soon as you receive the invoice. This will be a couple of days after the butcher date, as soon as we know what the hanging weight is. 

• For Freezer Packs this is a set amount and will be due before delivery.

• For QUARTERS, HALVES & WHOLE BEEF - this amount will depend on the wet weight of your beef

• Payment can be made by e-transfer to    windyvistafarms@gmail.com          or in person at the Farmer's Market

• For QUARTERS, HALVES & WHOLE BEEF - it is extremely important to pay promptly, so the butcher can then send you your link so you can specify how you want your beef cut.

BUTCHER FEE'S

​​This is only applicable for Quarters, Sides and Whole Beef
The fee is a $150 Killing fee per whole beef + .85/lb wet hanging weight and includes processing, cutting and wrapping.  This is paid after it is all cut and wrapped. 

ONLY FOR SIDES AND WHOLE BEEF:
You have the option of ordering sausage, patties, beef jerky, beef bacon etc.   There is an extra cost involved with these items though.

LOCAL DELIVERY is available within 1 hour of Monarch area...   There will be a delivery for fee for home delivery for the towns listed below from now on.  There is a $5 delivery fee.    If outside of the listed towns then there is a $10 delivery fee.

CALGARY DELIVERY SERVICE is available for the Drop Off Locations --see locations under Calgary Ordering - there is a delivery fee of $10 now---fuel costs, etc are all increasing exponentially--we are sorry, but we can no longer do this for free.

CALGARY HOME DELIVERY SERVICE - we will no longer be offering this service free... there will be a $15 fee for this now.  There is an amazing amount of time involved for this service, which is why we will charge for this now.
